Description
A SHA-256 hashed representation of a phone number's E.164 National Significant Number (NSN) - digits only, no country code, plus sign, or formatting. For US numbers this is exactly 10 digits, e.g. SHA-256 of '2127855334'. Excludes the country code so hashes from suppliers shipping raw 10-digit (US) phones are directly joinable. Distinct from sha256_hashed_phone_number (which requires E.164 with country code prior to hashing).
Produced by removing the country code from the E.164 form prior to hashing; for US numbers: SHA2(REGEXP_REPLACE(NORMALIZE_PHONE('E164', phone, 'US'), '^\+1', ''), 256).
