About
Description
The industry now has a standard set of audience segment names, thanks to the release of IAB Tech Lab's Audience Taxonomy. This development improves the comparability of data across different providers, and is a critical component of IAB Tech Lab's Data Transparency Standard (datalabel.org). With the introduction of a Tier 1 level labeling system, the Audience Taxonomy makes it easier to categorize audience segments based on demographic, interest-based, or purchase-intent-based attributes. This attribute focuses on the Academic Interests section of the IAB taxonomy.
